This is the Spanish medal table at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games after the second day

Date:

After three medals on the first day, the Spanish team boosted its medal tally on the second with four more podiums. It was in a day with one gold and three bronze medals.

Anastasiya Dmytriv was named the Paralympic champion of the 100 breaststroke SB8 in the pool and, with it, added the first gold for the Spanish delegation in Paris. With an exhibition from start to finish, he was able to add this victory to his two world titles.

Medal harvesting began in the morning. Alba García won bronze in the T11 long jump. This is to open the Spanish medal table in athletics, another of the sports that should be key to the national harvest.

So is cycling. On the track, Alfonso Cabello took bronze in the C4-5 time trial, in a final where he responded to the good performance he already had in the morning’s qualification. This is the second Spanish medal at this Paris Games.

The closing day also has a medal. Joan Munar won bronze in the T11 long jump so athletics signed a double podium on the opening day of this discipline. This Saturday, more options.
