Thus Christian Horner said goodbye to the Red Bull team

Date:

In his final public statement, collected by Sky Sports F1 through his YouTube channel, Christian Horner, The general director and director of the Red Bull F1 team until Tuesday night, have identified the decision that the Red Bull’s address “was a shock” for him.

After being informed on Tuesday night, Horner shared the news with his employees this Wednesday morning with the Milton Keynes, before the news was announced at 11.30. This is a very emotional speech after two decades of successes with eight pilot championships, four with Sebastian Vettel and four others with Max Verstappen, in addition to the six titles of the builders and 124 wins in large awards.

“Yesterday Red Bull told me that, in running, I would not be with the business or team from this meeting. I will continue to be an employee of a company, but in operation, the relay is solved. And that, obviously, it is a shock for me, but the time I have time to do will reflect the last 12 hours or so.

“When I came 20 years ago, with some canas, I entered the team, I didn’t know what to expect, but they accepted me right away. And from the two ruined buildings, we began to build what was a power of Formula 1. Look and be part of this group the greatest privilege of my life.”

Horner will be replaced by Frenchman Laurent Mekies, until yesterday that is responsible for the Bulls career.
