In its time, the Japanese brand already brought it forward and now it becomes reality with the first vision of its electric motorcycle.
The first time this electric motorcycle was seen in motion was at Suzuka’s Eight Hours, where Kawasaki Motors Europe Director General, Mr. Masaya Tsuruno, unveiled the Japanese company’s first commitment to electrification.
He also reaffirmed Kawasaki’s commitment to internal combustion engines, Mr Tsuruno added:
both e-fuel and bio-fuel were among the options considered, in addition to the much-discussed research into hydrogen as a possible CO2-neutral option.
With undeniable in-house resources and experience, Kawasaki is well placed to play a significant role in the evolution of transportation through new technologies, along with a long history of innovation in combustion engines.
And, as Mr. Tsuruno explained, the company is actively involved in partnerships that are not limited to the world of two wheels, but include both automotive and other forward-looking technologies, noting that “we are highly motivated and strongly connected and will continue for our research and development.
Tsuruno confirmed the commitment of the company president, Mr H
iroshi ito who has committed to present three electric models during this annuity. This unveiled prototype will form the basis for future series production.
Finally, Mr. Tsuruno revealed that the company is committed to further strengthening the Kawasaki brand, offering products and services that meet customer needs,
