The Prize is awarded to the model that achieves the highest score after the jury’s voting process. The jury will be divided between automotive journalists and a non-professional jury, consisting of ABC Premium subscribers and registered users of the ABC website -readers of the paper-.
The determination of the winning car will result from the combination of the votes of the juries such that the percentage of the weight of the vote of the result of the vote of the professional jury is 80%, the result of the vote of the ABC Premium subscribers at 15%, and those of registered users, at 5%.

Each member of the professional jury must rate all car models on each of these parameters, awarding 13 points to the best car, 11 points to the next, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point . The concepts are quality/price ratio, design, engines (range), driving feel, comfort/quality of life, technology and driving aids, consumption, reliability/guarantee and efficiency (CO2 and NOx emissions).
It is forbidden to assign the highest (13) or lowest (1) score to the same model for all parameters. In this sense, only the maximum (13) or minimum (1) score can be assigned to the same model in a maximum of 5 parameters, with the proviso that a model is unlikely to be the best (or the worst) in all parameters to qualify to come.
In the event of a tie in the result of the jury’s vote, the models will be ranked based on the model that has obtained the highest number of maximum scores (i.e. 13 points). If this is maintained in application of the first tiebreak criterion, the highest number of votes of 11 points will be taken into account, and so on, until the tie is broken.
Finally, the people wishing to participate in the election of the ABC award for the best car of the year 2023 must be natural persons, of age, residing in Spanish territory, who, as mentioned above, are ABC Premium subscribers with their active subscription , that they are aware of their subscription payment before the end of the voting period; or whether they register, or already are, as a registered user on the Site, with an email address published, if applicable, to take their participation, and with an address in Spain. It is an essential requirement to participate in order to meet the conditions set out in these principles.
All information provided by the participant must be true. The identity of the participants and the winner will only be accredited through official documents. In the event that the participant has provided false information, his vote will not be taken into account and he will be excluded from the promotion and from the possibility to choose the prize.

ABC will announce the results of the vote on December 14 in a deed summoning representatives of the twelve finalist brands and arranging the awards ceremony at a later date.
