The Basque parliament has suffered another cyber attack by a group of Russian hackers like the one last Tuesday, as have other state institutions.
When detecting the new attack on the servers, the services of the Vitoria Chamber did so has closed the website to prevent a security breach from opening.
The attack, as confirmed by sources from the institution, is similar to that carried out last Tuesday by the Russian group and which was resolved on Wednesday without major consequences. It consisted of collapse access to the server until it is blocked.
This group of Russian hackers tried to attack the websites of various institutions “in solidarity” with farmers’ protests in different parts of the country and managed to block some of them for a few hours.
Behind these attacks is the group ‘NoName057‘, which has claimed responsibility for the attacks on its channel on the Telegram messaging network and to which the National Cryptological Center has attributed these actions.
