Alfa Romeo announces orders have been opened in the Spanish market for the new Tonale, the icon of the brand’s metamorphosis, now
available in a diesel version. A new engine that complements the success of the Alfa Romeo Tonale in its hybrid configuration: more than 850 orders have already been placed in just three months and the first deliveries are already underway.
It is a model with a 1.6 liter diesel engine that produces 130 hp. It also has a maximum torque of 320 Nm, combined with a dual clutch transmission (TCT) to improve the dynamics and driving pleasure typical of Alfa Romeo while reducing fuel consumption.
The Alfa Romeo Tonale is equipped with the most direct steering in the segment (13.6:1), which ensures safe, comfortable and enjoyable driving on the road, putting it at the forefront of its class in terms of agility and driving dynamics.
It is also the only model in its category to feature the Integrated Brake System (IBS), Brembo 4-piston fixed calipers, self-vented front discs and full rear discs, contributing to excellent braking performance. .
The new Tonale diesel offers Alfa Romeo Dynamic Torque Vectoring and suspension with Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) dampers as standard. The architecture includes the MacPherson scheme in both axes, with specific and characteristic geometries and angles.
There are
three trim levels available: Super, Sprint and Ti, each with clearly defined specifications. It all starts with the Super trim, the gateway to the unique Alfa Romeo experience. Then comes Sprint, the perfect balance between price and specs, including plenty of options with a strong sporty connotation. Finally, the Ti finish, which enhances the elegance and distinctiveness of the Tonale, for customers seeking the best in exclusivity and standard specifications.
