Two women, aged 29 and 50, stole multiple times from a pensioner (83) as part of cleaning work in Gratkorn (Graz Area District). Gratwein police officers convicted the women using a thief trap and arrested them.
At the end of July, relatives of the 83-year-old reported to the police. Money was repeatedly stolen from the pensioner’s apartment. The cleaning staff quickly became a suspect.
Criminals from the Gratwein Police Department were finally able to convict the two suspects using thieves’ traps that had been set up or set up and arrested them immediately after another theft last Saturday. During the search, officers found the money that was previously in the women’s underwear.
Almost 500 euros stolen
The two Kosovar women, aged 29 and 50, living in Graz have confessed in part. They are suspected of stealing cash at least five times since May as part of their cleaning job. In doing so, they apparently made stealthy use of the 83-year-old’s dementia.
The suspects have already made good the damage amount of 480 euros. The women are publicly reported by order of the public prosecutor in Graz.
