Large-scale police operation Friday morning in the Tyrolean Unterland: After an alleged vehicle theft, there has been a chase between Wörgl (Kufstein district) and St. Johann (Kitzbühel district). Several attempts to stop him were ignored. Shots were also fired. One person was injured – arrests were made.
The police have meanwhile confirmed at the request of the “Krone” that the persecution took place between Wörgl and St. Johann in Tirol. After the driver ignored all stop signs, the panel van finally stopped on the track at an intersection in St. Johann. Shots were also fired, the newspaper said.
A total of three people were said to have been in the van. Apparently they wanted to flee.
There would have been two arrests. A prisoner was injured. Apparently this person has already been taken to St. Johann Hospital.

Rail traffic was also disrupted during the operation. There are currently no trains running. The National Criminal Investigation Department is investigating. According to unofficial reports, it would be a car theft. The van was said to have been the target of a patrol around 5 a.m.
