Shocking moment for a 52-year-old Sunday evening in the Tyrolean Unterland: When the resident in Weer (Schwaz district) was traveling with his “mini bike”, he suddenly heard a loud bang. Shortly afterwards, the vehicle caught fire.
Shortly after 7 pm, the 52-year-old Tyrolean was driving the “minibike” from Weer in the direction of Wattens when it suddenly crashed at an inn. “The driver immediately stopped and immediately noticed heavy smoke development near the exhaust,” police said.
No chance to extinguish the fire yourself
Moments later, the vehicle caught fire. The driver tried to put out the fire himself. However, he didn’t stand a chance. When the fire brigade arrived, the small motorcycle was already completely burned out.
The Florianis were still busy with the extinguishing work. Fortunately no one was injured.
