There is currently horror in Britain: in the middle of the day, a woman was stabbed to death on the street in London.
The Times newspaper quoted an eyewitness on Friday as saying that the man wanted to steal the woman’s handbag, said to be between 60 and 70 years old, on Thursday. The perpetrator pulled the bag, but held the woman.
According to the eyewitness, the man then stabbed her three times with a knife. Rescue workers treated the victim. However, the woman still died from her injuries.
Suspected perpetrator arrested
Shortly afterwards, the suspected perpetrator (22) was arrested about a kilometer from the crime scene in the northwest of the British capital, the Metropolitan Police announced. Authorities initially provided no information about the possible motive.
