Croatia is largely easing the corona measures before Easter: from Saturday travelers from EU countries can enter without restrictions, citizens of other countries still need a Covid certificate, Croatian Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic announced on Thursday. The mask requirement has been almost completely eliminated.
Wearing the mouth and nose protection, which was previously mandatory in public interiors and on public transport, will only be a recommendation, according to the media. However, masks remain mandatory in health care facilities and old people’s and nursing homes.
The use of masks will now “depend on individual judgment and personal responsibility and not on monitoring and sanctions,” the minister said at a news conference.
