Fear for 36-year-old from Hall in Tirol: The woman has been swallowed by the earth for more than a week. According to the police, she was last hiking with a friend in Fieberbrunn (Kitzbühel district). Overnight stays in a private cabin were also planned. After the 36-year-old went for a walk alone, she didn’t appear again. Searches were unsuccessful. An accident cannot be ruled out.
Since August 22, there has been no trace of the woman from Hall. The woman was last with a friend in the vicinity of “Wildalm” (1572 meters) in the municipality of Fieberbrunn. A hiking adventure including overnight stays in a private hunting lodge was on the program. On this day, however, the 36-year-old left alone for a walk near the Wildalm – the woman never returned.
“Accident not ruled out“
“During a search, the missing person’s jacket was found not far from the Wildalm. Extensive searches by the Alpine police, rescues in the mountains, sniffer dogs and drones have so far yielded nothing,” the researchers said. An accident cannot be ruled out.
The missing woman is about 1.55 meters tall, weighs about 45 to 50 kilograms and has a slim build, dark brown, shoulder-length wavy hair and hazel eyes. She has an overbite on the upper jaw, a noticeable birthmark on the left neck and a “gecko” tattoo about 10 centimeters in size on the left shoulder blade. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black sweatpants, a brown jacket (found) and an orange and yellow shoulder bag.
Police released two photos of the missing woman on Wednesday.
