After a 41-year-old stabbed his ex-partner in front of her daughter in Aderklaa (Lower Austria) on Wednesday, the man has now been taken into custody. The terrible bloody act is said to have taken place at around 6 a.m. in the apartment of the 31-year-old woman. According to media reports, the ordinary child (11) should also have been present. The suspect attacked the woman with a knife and seriously injured her. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with stab wounds and required emergency surgery.
The suspect fled in a vehicle
The man from the Gänserndorf district, who initially fled in a vehicle, was subsequently apprehended in Raasdorf by the Rapid Intervention Group (SIG). He is in the prison of Korneuburg.
According to police reports, the suspect has not confessed, but is being charged by the 31-year-old victim.
