In the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Friday), 4187 new corona infections have been registered in Austria, a week ago there were 5188 new cases. A slight increase in the number of patients in intensive care units was reported and another nine people infected with the virus died.
The total number of hospital admissions has fallen to below 1,000 corona patients who need to be cared for in hospitals. While a sharp drop was reported in the normal wards, four new intensive care patients were added.

- Upper Austria: 586
- Styria: 461
- Carinthia: 289
- Tyrol: 238
- Salzburg: 224
- Burgenland: 132
- Vorarlberg: 114
