While not nearly as relevant as it was during the Corona entry restrictions, a total failure of the Green Passport sparked thousands of concerned calls to AGES and the 1450 health hotline on Monday night.
At AGES, they don’t know why both “access” and “night gastronomy” – leftovers from the time of the Corona measures – were suddenly marked red for app users.
Thousands who still have valid vaccination certificates and where everything is still red have contacted the hotlines to find out what that means. There they wanted to reassure the “Krone”: there is no cause for concern, a software error is suspected.
The green passport app is currently only required for travel to countries where proof of vaccination or recovery status is still required. However, that could change again in the coming Corona autumn and you will have to grab your mobile phone more often in this country due to access restrictions. The green passport serves as proof of corona vaccinations, past infections or negative test results.
