“A total of five people are deployed here,” says Markus Lamb, spokesman for the police in Styria. The reason: You want to make sure there’s no hint of bias. Therefore, every time a police officer uses a firearm, the authority of another federal state investigates.
Toxicology report
The investigations are now being carried out jointly and in close consultation with the public prosecutor’s office in Graz. “There are still a few hearings to be held, of course we still have to wait for the reports,” Lamb said.
