What came out is shocking: from 2017 to 2022, the man committed numerous benefit fraud. The damage amounts to several thousand euros.
It is a form of scam that is particularly annoying: social fraud! For years, a Bosnian living in Graz did not shy away from traveling and still receiving benefits. He didn’t even report his travels to other countries. However, he lied to authorities that he could not travel because he had lost his passport.

The 55-year-old confessed only during the police interrogation. He stated that he did not know that he had to report the trips. The man is reported to an administrative body of the public prosecutor in Graz on suspicion of serious social security fraud and false evidence.
