The fire brigade in Styria has been fighting the flames for hours. The fire was extinguished after several hours.
Flames erupted from a service building in Mitterlabill in the middle of the night when the fire brigade arrived on the scene around 2 am. The fire broke out near a wood chip warehouse, against which a large contingent of emergency services moved: a total of 109 Florianis from 13 fire brigades from the area helped to extinguish the fire.
Firefighting lasted more than four hours
The fire was extinguished around 6.30 am after more than four hours. The flames were prevented from spreading to neighboring buildings. The affected house was completely destroyed by the fire, but no one was injured. The State Police in Styria is now investigating how the fire could have started.
