A total of six paintings by the artist Roland Siegele, who lives in Vienna, have disappeared. When construction work was taking place in the building where his studio is located, the artist packed up the works and left them there. When he recently checked that everything was in order, there was no trace of the photos.
According to police spokesman Philipp Haßlinger, the Tyrol-born artist had packed the works in his studio on Alsergrund because construction work was taking place in the building. When he checked in in late July, early August, the photos were gone. Since they didn’t show up until mid-September, he filed a complaint.
