According to information from the “Krone”, Alfred Hudler will be the new director of the Spanish Riding School. At the beginning of December, the former chairman of the Ottakringer brewery will succeed Sonja Klima, who recently led the prestigious institution.
The ex-wife of the former SPÖ chancellor Viktor Klima and chairman of the Ronald McDonald Kinderhulp has been the head of the Spanish Riding School since 1 March 2019. At that time, Klima had replaced the ‘grand dame’ Elisabeth Gürtler (who wanted to leave her contract early). Lately, there have been more and more attacks on her person.
At Hudler, an experienced manager takes over the agenda. Born in Vienna, he worked for Ottakringer Beverage AG for 30 years. Hudler joined Vöslauer in 1991 and became CEO of Vöslauer Mineralwasser AG in 1995. In 2018, he transferred to Ottakringer as CEO.
