A quarrel in an asylum center in Innsbruck got completely out of hand on Saturday evening: during the quarrel, an Algerian (27) is said to have pushed a Somali (39) over a staircase. The man hit his head and suffered serious injuries.
As police reported, the 39-year-old Somali was pushed down a flight of stairs at a care facility in Innsbruck shortly after 6:30 p.m. The man suffered serious head injuries as a result of the blow at the end of the stairwell and was taken to hospital by ambulance after first aid.

The 27-year-old Algerian is considered an urgent suspect, it said. The suspected perpetrator has been arrested. Appropriate notifications will be made upon completion of the investigation.
