Forgotten processes? – Berlusconi wanders around the Italian parliament

Date:

Just back in the Italian parliament, four-time Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is already causing a stir. Videos on social networks show him wandering around the parliament while voting for the election of the president of the Senate – this gets him malicious comments.

Berlusconi, who actually has decades of experience in the Italian political complex, seems almost confused. When he wants to throw his ballot into the ballot box, he initially leaves the polling station in the wrong direction (see videos below).

Had to be accompanied by an employee
However, when he couldn’t find a way to cast his vote there, employees pointed him the other way. The former head of government then stumbled out from behind the curtain and had to brace himself not to fall. Another employee immediately grabbed his arm, showed him the urn and went with him.

Now Berlusconi must expose himself not only to concerned news about his health condition, but also to the ridicule of social networks. A possible alcoholization of Berlusconi is also brought into play.

Insults and first alliance cracks
But that was not the only reason why the head of the Forza Italia party caused a stir: for example, he wrote condescending comments about his ally Giorgia Meloni on a document – he described her as “arrogant, cocky, arrogant and abusive”.

In addition, his party refused to vote for the joint candidate for Senate president, Ignazio La Russa. Berlusconi justified the abstention by saying that Melonis had vetoed certain Forza Italia ministerial candidates for the future government. The 86-year-old TV entrepreneur claimed the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Health for his confidant Lucia Ronzulli, but Meloni declined the request, media reports said.
