The man survived the suicide attempt with serious injuries: According to research by “Krone”, he is still in an Austrian hospital and will probably have to deal with the consequences for the rest of his life.

Relatives turned against the police because of the letter
Jealousy may have driven him: According to the indictment, the hospital worker had learned four days before the incident that his wife had been having an affair with a doctor for two years. It is said that the man from Salzburg found out who the doctor was and hatched a murder plan.

Metal box with suicide note
On the day of the crime, November 26, the suspect gave a metal box containing a suicide note and heirlooms to a relative. With the request to open it only after his death. But the person concerned looked inside, read the letter and immediately called the police – so she should have prevented a murder.
