One alone is helpless. But when you stand together, you develop unimaginable powers. Former classmates from the former high school in Siegendorf recently experienced this. In mid-September, 50 years after graduation, they met at a class reunion to share memories with their teacher and embrace with the joy of seeing each other again.
Fateful Encounter
They started their journey into the past with a visit to the old classroom where they once went to school. Before making a toast to life at the Heurigen, they asked the pastor for a prayer service in memory of the deceased classmates and teachers.
But before mass started, one of the classmates, 66-year-old Helmut Trimal from Trausdorf, unexpectedly slumped into the couch in front of everyone else. His survival is likely due to a host of guardian angels — and the impressive first-aid feats of the class community.
