The health of the girl who fell from a window in Vienna-Donaustadt on Tuesday and suffered life-threatening injuries, has since improved somewhat.
As announced by the Vienna Health Association, the child’s condition is stable. The eight-year-old was out of danger, but was still in intensive care on Thursday.
Fallen from the fourth floor
The accident happened around 3 p.m. The child fell from the fourth floor of an apartment building. The police and the Vienna professional rescue service provided first aid before the Vienna rescue helicopter “Christophorus 9” took it to a hospital. Police are investigating bodily harm caused by negligence. The director has not released any further details about the accident site, citing the privacy of the shocked family.
