There have been two cases of harassment in Eisenstadt in recent weeks. A teenager and a 10-year-old girl who successfully defended herself against the attacker were hit.
A teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a stranger in Eisenstadt on Friday, October 14. The case is only now known. The attack took place around 8 p.m. near Rosental high school.
Association sent letters to parents
The Eisenstadt-Turnen Union confirms that the teenager concerned is a member of the association. The Eisenstadt-Turnen Union then sent a letter to the parents informing them of the incident.
Parents are also advised to pay more attention to the safety of the children. “We are shocked that something like this is happening. That is why we have informed the parents so that they can take appropriate measures.”

Another similar case, which had already occurred in Kleinhöflein near Eisenstadt at the beginning of October, has only just been known. A ten-year-old girl was grabbed by the arm and hood by an unknown man. The student was able to free herself and run away using a hold she had learned in a self-defense class.
The incident happened just before 2 p.m. near the church. The mother then called the police. According to the 10-year-old, the stranger wore a black hood, sunglasses and also had a three-day beard. The man’s age was estimated at 35 years.
It is not yet clear whether there is a connection between the two attacks. The police are investigating at full speed.
