A light plane crashed into a New Hampshire apartment building on Saturday. The occupants of the machine were killed in an accident and the residents were terrified.
Miraculously, no one was injured in the apartment building in the town of Keene, northwest of Boston, the mayor said. However, for the two people aboard the single-engine Beechcraft Sierra, all help came too late.
The crash caused a fire in the apartment building. Resident Scott Gauthier said he heard a loud noise and felt the building shake. “The whole building was shaking, and then my mom went out to see what was going on and she started yelling, ‘Get out of the house,'” he told NBC10 Boston. When he went out, the whole back building was already on fire. “You could feel the flames as if you were standing next to a campfire.”
