In Mutters (Tiroler district of Innsbruck Land) a wolf may have struck again on Friday night! According to media reports, several sheep have been injured and killed. The animals were located near the residential area.
The predator may have jumped a fence and hunted the sheep. Then they broke through the fence and fled. Three animals were killed, some seriously injured. It is not yet clear whether the perpetrator is a wolf. A DNA analysis should reveal that.
Photos on social networks show the size of the predator. The post also describes the approach of the wolf. “The wolf comes in… and the sheep are then caught in the fence. The panic pushed the planks through,” it reads.
