Biden commits two new slips just over a month after his famous confusion searching for a congressman who died in an act
Joe Biden’s slips become a habit. Barely two weeks have passed since he mistaken the cause of his son Beau’s death. This Tuesday, he repeated the mistake at a rally in Florida.
“Inflation is a global problem right now because of the war in Iraq and the impact on oil and what Russia is doing,” he said at the event, which was being campaigned for next Tuesday’s midterm elections. To which he currently responds with another ‘error’: “Sorry, I’m thinking about Iraq, because my son died there.”
His son Beau died of cancer in Maryland in 2015 at the age of 46, although it is true that he was a veteran of the Iraq War. This new blunder delves into criticism from those who doubt he is qualified to run the country. At 77, Biden was the oldest president to take office in January 2021.
His slips come up so often that they even ask him about them in interviews. A few weeks ago, he claimed it is “perfectly legitimate” for voters to assess his health.
Perhaps his most infamous mistake occurred in September. During an act, the Democratic leader searched hard for a congressman who died in August. ‘Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie?” the president asked. He was referring to Jackie Walorski, a Republican congresswoman who was killed in a car accident.
