A thief stole a waiter’s wallet and a wine bottle from a bar in Klagenfurt on Friday evening. He didn’t get very far – he hid his loot in his underpants, among other things.
In a bar in Klagenfurt, an unknown man took his chance Friday evening and stole a waiter’s wallet from the counter. An employee was able to recognize and stop the thief on the street. Shortly before the alarmed police arrived, he managed to escape. “He was arrested nearby by the intervening officers a short time later,” the police said.

It turned out that the 22-year-old from Klagenfurt not only stole the wallet, but also a bottle of wine. “The money was found and seized, some of it in the underwear. He will be reported to the Klagenfurt public prosecutor’s office,” the police said
