In the night from Wednesday to Wednesday, unknown perpetrators caused great destruction in Klagenfurt and Krumpendorf with pyrotechnic explosions.
“We can confirm that a series of pyrotechnic explosions took place in Klagenfurt and Krumpendorf between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning,” police spokesman Dominik Sodamin confirmed. “Agents are currently on the scene and investigating.”
The perpetrators hit a total of five crime scenes. Phone booths in Klagenfurt’s Goethepark, in Sterneckstraße and at the train station in Krumpendorf, a dixi toilet on Klagenfurt’s Friedelstrand and a cigarette machine in Beethovenstraße were blown up with fireworks.
The attacks caused a lot of material damage, but there is still no trace of the perpetrators. Police are asking any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
