At the Tyrolean gas station – trapped between trucks: man (48) fears for his hand

Date:

Bad incident Tuesday morning at a large gas station in Brixlegg in Tyrol! A Serb (48) ended up between a trailer and a tractor, became trapped and was seriously injured.

The five-lane gas station near the highway exit was visited by several trucks around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. A Lithuanian (60) was also in line. “After the long-distance truck driver had done his shopping at the gas station shop, he got back into the truck and had to back up a few meters due to the parking situation,” police said.

The 60-year-old may not have seen the heavy vehicle behind him or may have misjudged the distance and driven it. Just at that moment a Serb (48) drove between the two vehicles. “He was the driver of the rear truck,” says an investigating officer. Apparently he wanted to warn of a collision. The Serb sustained serious bruises to his hand. It was initially unclear if she could be saved. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter.
