A 48-year-old driver was thrown from the car in a head-on collision in the Deutsch Tschantschendorf in Burgenland. All help came too late for them. The truck driver was taken to hospital.
A driver from the Oberwart district was driving in the direction of Güssing around 11 a.m. when she entered the oncoming lane with her vehicle for an initially unknown reason and the car was hit head-on by an oncoming truck.

The 48-year-old was thrown from the car by the force of the collision. The emergency doctor who arrived shortly after the accident was only able to determine the death. The car of the woman from Burgenland was completely destroyed in the collision and then caught fire. Firefighters had to extinguish the wreckage with foam.
