Since Monday morning, there have been power cuts in Wien-Landstrasse – to the chagrin of thousands of affected households. Wiener Netze is currently working to resolve the issue.
The Wiener Netze website has been pointing out the problem since 11:51 am. So far it is still unclear what the exact cause of the condition could be.

“Our employees are already working to resolve the supply interruption. Most malfunctions are resolved within approximately 90 minutes. Please understand that depending on the reason for the outage or the weather conditions, it may take a little longer. Thank you,” said the Wiener Netze on its homepage.
In recent weeks there have been more frequent power outages in Vienna and the surrounding area – most recently in the inner city on the Ringstrasse. About 500 connections were affected.
