Successful manhunt – cuddly cat “Willi” is back in his territory

It was on the evening of January 4 that the cat “Willi” from Hackerberg disappeared without a trace. For three weeks, his owners Lisa Stipsits and Alexander Unger waited for the return of the one and a half year old house cat, who had never escaped before. At that time, they already suspected that the unneutered tomcat might be looking for a wife. But when there was still no sign of him, they went looking for him through the “Krone”.

Well fed and exhausted
The action was worth it. Because a day later the couple received a phone call from an attentive lady from the neighboring municipality of Stinatz. She had noticed a few days earlier that her four cats living in the attic had unknown male visitors. “I immediately drove there and actually found our escape between the girls. Willi was even fatter than usual and must have really enjoyed the time in the peloton,” says Stipsits.

The wild nights and the six-kilometer walk from Hackerberg to Stinatz must have weakened the hangover, because since his return he has only been lying around lazily: “Either he needs rest, or he has a broken heart”, his wife suspects. Will “Willi” be able to see his playmates again soon? “Just have a look. All the cats weren’t neutered. If he’s unlucky, he can pay alimony in two months!” Until they meet again, “Willi” simply seeks comfort in the arms of his sister Maja. “He will be neutered next week,” says mom Lisa Stipsits.
