Animal use recently for the fire brigade of Buch in Tyrol! For days there was no trace of the cat “Lucy”. After searching the internet, the owners finally found the runaway himself in a treetop. Immediate rescue was not possible because of the darkness.
Lucy was trapped at a height of about 16 meters. Because of the darkness, commander Günther Köchler decided to salvage the next morning. The Floriani disciples went to the animal with the aerial work platform of the Jenbach fire department.
Branches removed with chainsaw
Some branches also had to be removed with a chainsaw. In the end, however, the effort was in vain. Because “Lucy” was probably not completely comfortable with the rescue operation and shortly before she was rescued decided to jump into the depths, which ended up being light. Fortunately she was not injured.
After the daring “stunt”, the velvet paw ran straight home and took a nap there.
