There was another fire alarm in the Tyrolean municipality of Kundl on Wednesday evening! After the former laundry room of an empty single-family house burned down the week before, this time the fairground wagon of the local young farmers / rural youth went up in flames. Police suspect arson again. Those affected are shocked: “This is unbelievable for us!”
Shortly before 2:30 a.m., the fairground car suddenly caught fire. A neighbor who was standing on the balcony of the house opposite and smoking a cigarette noticed the fire and raised the alarm.
“When the emergency services arrived, the float was already completely engulfed in flames,” said the fire service. The flames were quickly brought under control and extinguished. “The fire was prevented from spreading to adjacent garages and farm buildings,” police added.
Police are currently suspecting arson
As the police also described by “Krone” when asked, the fire was probably lit. However, research is being done in all directions. Fortunately no one was injured. About 25 firefighters were on the scene.

Last Wednesday there was a fire alarm in Kundl: a fire had destroyed the former washroom of an empty family house. A newspaper delivery woman had sounded the alarm. The fire may have been deliberately lit, it was said at the time. In any case, a connection with the current fire cannot be ruled out.
The management is looking for possible witnesses to both fire incidents.
