According to the municipality of Maria Wörth, increasing criticism and decreasing acceptance in combination with climate change are the reasons why the GTI meeting at Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia is no longer taking place. After – as reported – the end was announced, fans are holding a memorial. Countless people from all over Austria came to Reifnitz.
But the GTI community is not giving up: “As it is now, things look bad. But we hope and keep fighting!” According to them, there will be a reunion: “We will be back, meetings will take place – in the usual hot spots.”
