It is rumored that Russian President Vladimir Putin has been married to former gymnast Alina Kabaeva for many years. However, the Kremlin ruler, who is actually so concerned about traditional values, does not publicly profess his allegiance. The chosen one lives in opulence – while her husband wages war and mutates into a dictator.
In the Russian city of Valday, a house was built for Kabaeva and her children near Putin’s residence. It even has a dedicated private railway line. And in the city of Sochi on the Black Sea, she is allowed to own a penthouse of 2,600 square meters. The independent internet edition “Project” reports on this. Particularly courageous people work for the medium – they are Russian reporters and journalists who are oppressed in their own country because of their work.
Separate homes instead of separate bedrooms
Kabaeva’s home in Valday is a few hundred meters from Putin’s home. She lives with her children in the 1200 square foot house. Five personal assistants will help her with this. To get to Putin’s residence, the former athlete uses a special railway line and a guarded station. By the way, there are similar secret stations near Putin’s residences in Sochi and Novo-Ogaryevo, between which the Kremlin ruler travels in a special armored train.
Penthouse of 2600 square feet
According to the study, Kabaeva’s most expensive property is a penthouse in Sochi. It measures 2600 square meters and includes a cinema, a billiards room, a solarium and a nightclub, among others.
The secret palace was a deep scratch on Putin’s image
The team led by opposition politician Alexei Navalny released a reveal video in 2021 accusing Putin of using bribes to build a massive 17,500-square-foot palace on the Black Sea. Photos were also made public that are supposed to show the secret, luxurious palace of the Russian president. The publications caused a stir in Russian society and were widely discussed. Music groups also took up the issue and teased the Kremlin boss.
The property with the palace of Italian design is almost 40 times the size of Monaco. The costs would be around 100 billion rubles (1.3 billion euros). The complex also includes a helipad, a church, an underground ice arena and an orangery.
The palace also has a theater, saunas and an armory of Kalashnikov assault rifles. But one room in particular stood out: the pompous building would also house a strip club: a pole dancing pole was installed in an oriental atmosphere with indirect, dim lighting.
