He chatted with underage girls on the internet and asked for relevant photos. Now a farmer in Feldkirch has been sentenced.
“It was a difficult period in my life. But I was glad it was reported. So I was able to do therapy,” the 30-year-old farmer admits to the jury.
Photos in underwear and sex videos
In the period from 2016 to 2021, the hitherto innocent man managed to gain the trust of several 13-year-old girls while chatting on the internet.
When he asks her for erotic photos, three of the victims send him photos showing them in underwear and bikinis respectively. He even sends another girl a penis pic of himself and then asks her to masturbate and sends him a video of it.
The girl’s father subsequently filed a report against the sex offender. In doing so, the farmer, who is now also married and looking forward to fatherly joy, confesses completely. “Unfortunately I can’t undo it. But I want to apologize to everyone involved,” he says sadly.
Although, according to judge Silke Sandholzer, the request for masturbation video “goes into the lower echelons as a crime scene of sexual abuse of minors”, she sentences the Oberlander to a four-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of 6,600 euros, which the farmer will pay in installments from May.
Verdict accepted by defendant
The judge sees his confession and the therapy he has already undergone as a mitigating circumstance. The financial compensation already paid is also assessed positively in court.
The farmer eventually accepts the verdict and the prosecutor decides not to appeal. Sohin’s verdict is already final.
