The rescue was in constant use in Flachgau in Salzburg around Friday afternoon. Several paragliders fell, two of them seriously injured.
A storm front over the Flachgau was doomed to countless aerial acrobats. A paraglider pilot crashed in Koppl and was seriously injured. He was flown with the Christophorus 6 to the UKH Salzburg. Another was caught in Fuschl – he too was seriously injured and was transported to the state hospital.
There was also an accident not far from here in the Salzburgring area, in which two people were slightly injured. In addition, the mountain rescue team in Ebenau had to move because two people fell during a tandem paragliding jump. A rescue helicopter, the Martin 10, was also deployed here.
