Officials were stunned when they removed a man from circulation on Friday night. This one – he comes from Upper Austria – drove with 1.92 promille and also did not have a driver’s license. He was immediately forbidden to continue his journey.
A few hours earlier, the police had arrested an alcohol offender in the vicinity of Wals. A check showed that a 62-year-old from Flachgau with a blood alcohol level of 1.22 was behind the wheel. He had to surrender his driver’s license.
