The architect and urban planner Andrea Krupski von Mansberg has been head of the urban planning and mobility department in Bregenz since May 2021. In the interview “Krone” she reveals what will be worked on in the coming months and what the capital should look like in five, ten and 25 years.
„Crown“: You played a key role in shaping Hamburg’s HafenCity and are now working to get the major Bregenz Mitte project on track. How does the work in Bregenz differ from your previous work in Hamburg?
Andrea Krupski from Mansberg: The administrative apparatus in Hamburg and in HafenCity is of course much larger and more complex. Yet there are many parallels. Here in Bregenz I am responsible for the same things, among other things, and I appreciate the short and direct official channels.
