The suspect (21), who allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl in Wiener Neustadt (Lower Austria) on Sunday night, has been detained since Friday afternoon.
The heinous act happened between 00:30 and 04:00 in a toilet of a bar. Another person allegedly filmed the rape and shared it on social media. According to the police, further investigation is needed in this context.
Police suspect knockout drops
The 21-year-old was arrested in Gloggnitz (Neunkirchen district) on Wednesday evening after police published police photos of him the day before. Before the rape, the 13-year-old allegedly got substances in her drink, with knockout drops in the room. A rapid drug test came back positive.
The state police of Lower Austria recorded that the victim could not remember anything after consuming the liquid.
