“Into the fight!” – Medvedev calls on American citizens to stand up for Trump

Date:

Former US President Donald Trump is expected to be arrested next Tuesday. That is why he called on his supporters to protest. Trump received support from former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. “Take back the country, Americans! To fight!” wrote Medvedev on Saturday.

How seriously the 57-year-old meant his demands on his Telegram channel remained unclear. He concluded his comments with the probably ironic fact that he wrote this at the request of the presidential candidate “Colonel Daniil Fyodorovich Trump”. He probably alluded to speculation about the relationship between the former US president and the Kremlin.

Former Kremlin chief furious over Putin’s arrest warrant
In his text, Medvedev also addressed the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin. “The idiots in Europe want to arrest a stranger, and on March 21 their own will be arrested in America,” wrote Medvedev, who repeatedly uttered abuse and threats against the Western world during Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.

Trump: investigation into hush money payments to prono actress
Prosecutors in New York are investigating Trump over hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. Trump denies having sex with the woman. In the United States, a jury decides whether to indict a case after the prosecution has presented evidence.

American media assumes that this will happen to Trump in the coming days. He would be the first former US president to be charged with an alleged crime.

Meanwhile, Trump called on his supporters to protest. “The overwhelmingly leading Republican nominee and former president of the United States of America will be arrested next Tuesday. Protest, take our nation back!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social on Saturday.
