He would have committed the burglaries and thefts for lack of money. The man also admitted to shooting a lampshade at a public swimming pool on Lake Irrsee. In a nature reserve in Kirchdorf am Inn, he allegedly killed a wild duck with the weapon he legally owned. And he was apparently involved in the killing of a gray heron. He is also said to have shot a frog at close range in the street.

A weapon ban has been imposed on the suspect and a report has been filed with the public prosecutor’s office in Wels and the BH in Vöcklabruck.
