Funkzunft Vandans – No consequence for burning “climate witch”

Date:

After the Funkenzunft Vandans set fire to a “climate glue witch” at the end of February, the environmental activists “Last Generation” submitted a statement of facts to the prosecutor’s office. Now it is clear: there will be no legal consequences.

Funkenzunft Vandans made itself quite unpopular by burning a Funkenwitch designed as a climate glue at the end of February. The environmental activists of the last generation threatened to press charges and submitted a statement of facts to the Public Prosecution Service. The environmentalists accused the radio guild of hate speech and a veritable witch hunt. The radio guild, on the other hand, spoke of “satire”.

being a witch worth considering
It has since been announced that no legal action will be taken against the guild. The OM is not conducting any further investigation. Burning the climate witch has no consequences – at least not legal ones. Incidentally, the subject of spark witch was discussed in the “vorarlberg museum” in Bregenz on Wednesday evening. What was striking was that both the discussants and the public more or less agreed that the Funkenhexe was in any case “worth considering”.

There is another way
Many radio guilds have already said goodbye to burning a female figure, but others still insist on their right to “tradition”. In any case, you cannot dictate to the guilds what to burn with their sparks – personal responsibility also applies here.
