A 23-year-old man was killed and four others injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood on Sunday night.
The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. Sunday night near the busy Columbus and Broadway intersection near the famous Condor Club.
After some initial confusion over the death toll, the San Francisco Police Department announced, “There were three other victims of the shooting who are expected to survive.” Police later said they found two more victims. The two 24-year-old men from Sacramento County were also not seriously injured.
The researchers assume that it was not a targeted and planned attack.
Video footage shows police officers securing the crime scene (see above). One victim was covered with a tarpaulin, while a discarded pistol and spent cartridges were seen on the street.
