At 10:58 p.m. Monday night, a 24-year-old patient at Bludenz Hospital suddenly went mad. For unknown reasons, the man grabbed several dangerous objects – according to initial information from the police, a pocket knife and a baton – and threatened the hospital staff.
Those who were attacked immediately alerted the executive. When the police arrived on the scene, the 24-year-old dared to jump from the window of his hospital room. He fled further into an adjacent forest and hid there.

The police received reinforcements from the special task force Cobra and were eventually able to locate the fugitive. The 24-year-old has been arrested. The investigation into the incident is on-going. Eight police patrols, the Cobra, a drone and assistance dogs were involved in the operation.
