Salzburg police have now cleared up an attack on a food delivery boy last February. The two alleged perpetrators are in custody. The duo had ordered Asian food on Feb. 24 and then “greeted” the delivery man with a gun. The terrified man dropped the food and fled. The perpetrators did not steal any money, the value of the meal was around 60 euros, a police spokeswoman said on Thursday.
The two men had initially asked the food delivery driver for change because they would pay with a 200 euro note. When the driver refused, one of the men pulled out a gun.
Perpetrator named wrong person as accomplice
After extensive investigation, the police in Vienna in April arrested a 23-year-old Serb as one of the alleged perpetrators. He initially named a 14-year-old Romanian as an accomplice, who was subsequently also arrested by the police. However, further investigation revealed that the boy had nothing to do with the robbery. He was released from prison.
16 year old caught
In another arrest at the end of April in Salzburgerland The police should have caught the right person then: a 16-year-old local resident, whose data carriers with evidence were also seized. According to the spokeswoman, both suspects have made a partial confession. The murder weapon was probably a deceptively real-looking gas pistol.
